  Wiegand 26 Slave Reader Connection  
ACT-408A remains an Wiegand communications bus interface allowing physical entrance control via a standard Wiegand 26 protocol through the slave reader. Its remarkable advantage is that it can match with most of the access controllers on the market.

Place the ACT-408A outside the door to play the advertising to attract people's attention, and identify the personal information by RFID technology. Via the Wiegand interface, to connect the slave reader inside the door when people leave. DUal identification for use ensure higher security level.

2 NC/NO Relay Output
 

ACT-408A is built-in two relay output controls which are electromechanical switches operated by a flow of electricity in one circuit and controlling the flow of electricity in another circuit. When the electromagnet is energized, it exerts a force on the armature that overcomes the pull of the spring and moves the contact so as to either complete or break a circuit. When the electromagnet is de-energized, the contact returns to its original position.
1. Normal Close Example :
Relay normaly closed means that in its normal state the relay is closed. So when energized it till open and break the circuit.

2. Normal Open Example :
When the relay is normally open, there will be no commection between the two wires until the relay receives a signal (outside source to energize relay ) to close. Simply put, an open relay is the same as a light switch that is turned off , and will always be off until told to turn on.

The ACT-408A RFID operating system contains RFID tags, Reader Antenna, Reader and Software (operation system, middleware, applications). When a command is generated by application, reader encodes the command (we say to read tag UID for example) and transmits it with RF format. Tag in RF coverage range then receives RF, turns it into energy, decodes the command and response ( return its UID '01234567' ) in RF format accordingly.
